VLPRA Mails Surveys

The Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks and Recreation Authority (VLPRA) is sending out surveys to residents as the organization works to update its Master Plan. The ten-year plan is a roadmap for the Authority as it gives direction for improving and adding programs, parks, and facilities.

VLPRA is sending out surveys by mail to hundreds of randomly selected residents as part of a statistically valid survey program. Residents who receive the letters can reply using the included written survey. They can also complete the survey online using a provided code. These surveys are not solicitation letters and will not under any circumstances request sensitive information such as social security numbers.

VLPRA asks that any resident who receives these surveys please fill them out to the best of their ability. The feedback will be used to help VLPRA plan for improvements and additions.

In addition to this statistically valid survey, VLPRA will also put out an online survey at a later date that all members of the public will be able to complete.
