Facilities Closed Until April 6th

We are continuously monitoring COVID-19 developments and are adapting as needed.

In compliance with this order from Valdosta and Lowndes County governments, VLPRA has closed its indoor facilities to the public with the exception of our main office.  We encourage the public to do all business through phone or internet but if  someone must come in, we have taken steps to keep individuals separated.  As stated in the order, we will also close all playgrounds in Valdosta & Lowndes County. Parks will remain open, but we encourage patrons to remain a safe distance from one another while enjoying the outdoors.  All programs have been suspended for this time period.  This order is in effect until noon on April 6th.

In the meantime, we will continue to provide recreation activities through our Facebook page, facebook.com/vlpra as well as on our website page dedicated to quarantine activities.
